When a husband and wife learn that they’re about to have a child, it’s one of the most incredible moments in their lives. They eagerly look forward to the arrival of the baby, wondering what he or she will be like, even daring to dream what they’ll grow up to become – an artist, a chef, doctor, engineer, lawyer – so many possibilities.
In the Bible, in the book of Isaiah, God tells us about the coming of the Messiah, His Son Jesus, and who He would be. Jesus is not only the most Wonderful person ever, He is the greatest Counsellor, He is Almighty God, the best Father we could ever ask for and the One who would bring us peace with God through His atoning sacrifice for our sins.
This Christmas, I pray you will get to know that the baby born in a lowly manger in Bethlehem, Jesus, is the One true God, and you will receive Him as your Lord and Saviour!
