When someone does something amazing, it’s not unusual for us to praise that person. When what’s done is to benefit others, we heap even more praise on them because we want to show them our appreciation and thanks.
In the Bible, after the angel had told the shepherds that Jesus the Messiah had been born in Bethlehem, many other heavenly beings joined this angel in praising God because by sending Jesus who would go on to die for our sins, people could not only be gain peace with God, they could also have peace with one another, leading to goodwill being established.
This Christmas, I pray you will receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, and learn to praise God for Jesus and because you know Him.
