December 6

Everyone wants to be loved by someone, to be truly and unconditionally loved. Reality though is that the love that is in the world is far from true and always conditional, which isn’t love at all. Think of someone you love. Do you love them for who they are, flaws and all, or because they meet your criteria?

The Bible tells us that not only does God love us, but God is the very definition of love. God made us in His image but sin has seperated us from Him. God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die for our sins so we don’t have to, so that we can get right with God and be His children of we say yes to Jesus. The Spirit of Jesus helps us to believe in Jesus and the same Spirit helps us radically and sacrificially love others like Jesus loves us!

I pray that this Christmas, the Spirit of Jesus will help you recognise your need for Jesus so that you’ll receive His love and learn to love others the way Jesus loves you!
